Chelmont is a primarily Hispanic neighborhood in El Paso, Texas, found between highways 10, 20, 54, 62, 80, 85, 180 and 375. As a part of El Paso, it is close to the Texas/Mexico border. The community population was 118,485 at the last poll taken. The average household size is 2.9 people. Chelmont encompasses eight zip codes, approximately 48 square miles and the El Paso International Airport.
