This Exhibit is open to all Artists throughout the El Paso Region (New Mexico included). The theme is open to artwork pertaining to the U.S.A. (Anything Patriotic - U.S. Military, 4th of July Celebrations, Landscape of the U.S, etc.)
-Media: Oil, acrylic, transparent watercolor, pastels, or other paint media and sculptures. ACCEPTING ENTRIES NOW!
-Work Size: Works submitted must be two or three dimensional and original in concept, design and execution. No computer generated, photographic or printed work will be accepted.
-Minimum size 11x14 image size. Entries must be framed or gallery wrapped. Artwork must be ready for hanging. No saw tooth hangers will be accepted.
-Entry Requirements: Each artist may enter up to three photographs. Photos must include Artist’s name, title, medium, size (in inches H. x W.), Label TOP on the correct viewing side of the photo. Information on the photo must correspond with information and numbers on the entry forms.
-Photo should show-only the work of art.
-All works submitted must be for sale. Museum will retain 40% commission.
-Entry fee is $35.00
-Prizes: First Place $250, Second Place: $150, Third Place: $100, -Honorable Mention: (2) $25 each.
Timeline: “Happy Birthday, America!” will run from Wednesday, July 1 to Sunday, July 30, 2017
-Entry due date: Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Accepting entries NOW! Notification to artist: All Artists will be notified by phone or e-mail by Saturday, June 24, 2017.
-Delivery: Delivery of work will be Thursday, June 29, 2017.
-Reception: Will be held Sunday, July 2 from 2-4 p.m.
-Exhibition ends: Sunday, July 30, 2017.
-Pick up Artwork: Wednesday, August 2 (10-5pm)
-Publicity: All media outlets will be informed as well as any social media outlet.
